Buffering Services integrate additional community-based support within the Network of Care to address ACEs and toxic stress, focusing on the specific needs of each community.

Buffering Services partners integrate additional community-based services within the Network of Care to address ACEs and toxic stress, focusing on the specific needs of each community. Buffering services focus on:

  • Preventing ACEs through educating parents and providing supports to families
  • Early recognition of ACEs and providing supports to prevent toxic stress
  • Early, evidence-based interventions to mitigate the toxic stress response

Buffering Services partners are incorporated into the current PeRC clinic model, offering coordination with the clinic’s resource navigator and therapist. Current partners include:
